Dotpost can be accessed from any device using a web browser. This includes PCs, tablets and mobile phones.
Accessing Dotpost using a web browser allows you to access all the functionality in Dotpost.
The apps only offer limited functionality and because of this, they were removed from the app store and play store in 2022.
From March 2025, you will no longer be able to use the Dotpost mobile apps to access Dotpost.
The apps do not allow you to
- register as a new user
- add a sender to your account
- change your password
- change your email address
- change your details (name)
- change your notification settings regarding new documents.
Accessing Dotpost using a web browser allows you to perform all of the above as well as accessing your inbox and all your documents (even if you were using the app originally). Your documents remain unchanged; All of your labels, read status etc are all still available in your Dotpost inbox.
Do I need to do anything to continue to use Dotpost?
If you already access Dotpost using your web browser, there is no change.
If you have been using the Dotpost mobile app to access your content, then you need to use the web app via your browser.
DeleteWill I still receive my payslips, appointments, other documents?
There is no change to your document delivery. This will continue as before. The only difference is that if you previously used the app to access your documents, you now need to login to dotpost using a web browser.
DeleteWhat about the documents already in the app?
If you have been using the app to access your documents, they are still in your inbox. Dotpost does not store the documents on your mobile device. When you login via a web browser you are accessing your Dotpost inbox. This is the same inbox as you access from the app.
DeleteWhat web browsers can I use?
Dotpost supports different browsers. Further information can be found here - Supported Browsers
DeleteDo I need to re-register to use Dotpost on my web browser?
No. You can login using the same credentials you use to access the app.
DeleteWill I still receive my new documents notifications?
Yes. The notifications will continue as before. They will not change.
You can amend your notification settings via My Dotpost.

If you are an app user then please read on to understand the changes.
You will still receive documents - senders will deliver documents to your Dotpost inbox as before and you will receive notifications based on your settings. However you should now access your documents using your web browser instead of the mobile app.
Dotpost changed last year, allowing all features to be easily used on a mobile device using your web browser. We are retiring the Dotpost mobile apps because using dotpost.com via a browser offers the best, most complete user experience and allows you to view documents, manage your inbox, add or remove senders and update your personal information. You can do this from any device at https://www.dotpost.com/login
The Dotpost iOS app and Dotpost Android app will be removed from the App Store and Play Store on 1st November 2022. You will not be able to install the Dotpost app on your devices from this date. If you are using the app to access your inbox you will still be able to do this, however the app will not receive any further software updates. Note: the existing Dotpost iOS app is incompatible with iOS 16.
